Pruning Season is Here

lanissacoker

It's Pruning season! The past several days I have spent countless hours pruning fruit trees and berry bushes, I still have a long way to go....🙄 That being said, you can't beat the luxury of having your own fresh fruit to enjoy over the summer and fall seasons. Spring is definitely on the horizon. The fruit trees are loaded with blossoms and the daffodils and tulips are in bloom. The bad news is that we are expecting  a pretty hard freeze/frost this weekend through Monday. I'll be honest, it's kind of a cruel joke.....it's never fun to watch beautiful peach blossoms knowing they will probably be squelched by the frost. 😭 Hopefully at least some of them will survive. I'll be sure to keep you posted. Until then, here are a few pictures of the blossoms on the fruit trees. We are enjoying them! 😍
